Servoy User Group – July 19 July 11, 2011 • 1 minutes read Join Servoy at the launch meeting of the first official L.A. Servoy user group, hosted at the same location as the monthly LAFox.org user group meetings near LAX. Special guest speaker Ken Levy (president of MashupX, LLC) will do demos on getting started using the new Servoy 6 with the latest Servoy demos — including: installing Servoy on Mac or Windows; touring around the installation directories and IDE in Eclipse; getting started tips; coding tips and examples; working with COM DLLs; using various database sources; and under-the-hood of various sample solutions included with Servoy. This meeting will be fun and educational for anyone in the L.A. area interested in or currently using Servoy — either as a new development platform, or as a great additional tool and skill set to compliment Visual FoxPro or other development tools.
