A proof of concept (POC) can run for between one and three weeks, depending on what you need to verify. The POC starts by putting together a team made of your product owner, your architect, one or more developers and Servoy experts. The team defines and prioritizes what needs to be verified during the course of the project and agrees on what constitutes proof.
There are different ways to approach a POC. It could mean building a piece of software or showing how certain features are covered in the platform (“build” or “show”). The team briefly meets every day to make sure the POC is on track and no stumbling blocks have been encountered. The POC ends with a presentation by the team to all stakeholders confirming that the platform is the right fit for the organization.
